Leaving Mukwanago, where we stayed the past 3 days, we decided once again to only drive two lane roads to Green Bay.  We drove Kettle Morraine scenic highway 83 for a while and then drove to Fon du Lac which has a beautiful city park on the shores of Winnebago Lake.  The lake was a disappointing chocolate brown color. Maybe it’s spring runoff and is only temporary.
Now we are camped at the edge of a river very near Green Bay.  We plan to sight see as much as possible tomorrow before a week of rain arrives.  We came pretty close to driving south to warmer weather when we left this morning.  Who knows, we still might.  The guys on the left caught a Sheephead fish which they threw back in.  They said it was equivalent to eating a dog because these fish taste so bad.
