Ten days was a long time to stay in one place, however Lunenburg was the ideal place to be for that length of time.  Leaving town, Steve drove to a couple of places where I could take some pictures out of the window.                                  Lunenburg Academy

We then took highway 3, the Lighthouse Route, along the coast to Mahone Bay.  This little town is over the top quaint and cute.  It is commuting distance from Halifax and many of the wealthy have their homes and boats here. 
                                          There are three steepled churches in a row that are much photographed.  We could only park in spots to get two of them.
