Made It To Tucson

We arrived yesterday to a lovely adult RV park in the hills on the south side of Tucson and are parked next to friends that Steve and  I met 3 years ago in Mexico.  And am I ever glad because absolutely everything I touch malfunctions:  From plugging into the electricity and having it not work all night (there was a switch I was supposed to turn on), to the hose  leaking at the faucet like crazy and so I changed sites, to not being able to get the quick connect to disconnect the hose at the camper outlet (because I didn’t turn the water off so my friend Dick got baptized when he came to the rescue) to not being able to get any of the sewer hoses to attach to each other (thanks again Dick) and on and on.  It’s been the bane of my life that I cannot do anything mechanical, no matter how simple, no matter how hard I try.

If I don’t chicken out, we will cross into Mexico in the morning.  But first, need to make a quick stop at Walmart for a new GPS holder for the dash because I broke the old one trying to move it closer to the drivers side because my mother can’t figure out how to use it.  Definitely understandable though.

Hopefully, I can send this now.  Even though this park (Diamond J) is very nice, the internet bandwidth is almost non-existent.
