Peggy’s Cove

It began raining early this morning with the kind of rain you know is not going to stop all day.  Peggy’s Cove was only 7 miles from our RV park but the landscape changed drastically in those few miles.  Steve and I agreed that it reminded us of some very high elevation places in Colorado just below tree line.  The fishing village of Peggy’s Cove has less than 100 residents but it is the most photographed site in all of Atlantic Canada and their lighthouse is the most photographed in the world!  We pulled in to the lighthouse parking lot and Steve got as close as he could to an overlook and for the first time in two weeks I put weight on my leg and walked a few feet to take some pictures.  All the other pictures were taken from the RV.  We also stopped in the parking lot of the Swissair 111 Memorial but there was a fairly long path that had to be walked so we couldn’t see much other than the pretty setting on the ocean.
