This park was about 60 miles from Buffalo so we stopped in on the way to Niagara Falls. Another regret; we should have made time to spend a few days here as it’s the nicest state park I’ve ever seen. Letchworth State Park is known as the “Grand Canyon of the East” and encompasses almost 15,000 acres and three major waterfalls roaring over the Genesee River below. There is a campground, museum, swimming pools, restaurants, cabins, and much, much more.
