I.B.Magee Beach Park

The beach is at the end of our street in Port Aransas.  There is a large RV park behind the building on the left and primitive beach camping is also allowed with a permit from the county.

The pier is 1200 feet long and all sorts of fish can be caught from the end.  It normally costs $1.25 admission to go on the pier but today it was free.

We took the red trolley bus back to the RV park after riding the complete circuit so that we could see more of Port Aransas.  The red trolleys are only 25 cents and the friendly bus driver will tell you anything you need to know about the area.  Our driver said he believes the cold and wet weather is behind us now and that it can get into the 80’s in February.
