Waldo Canyon Fire started yesterday above Manitou Springs and is at zero percent containment. We were awakened at 1 am last night to evacuate. Our entire town of 5,000 people had to leave along with residents of Cascade, Chipita Park, and Green Mountain Falls. We packed up Tulip and our Tracker and parked in a church parking lot for the remainder of the night. Now we are at my mother’s house which is at least 10 miles from the fire.
